Zambia justly plays proud host to a word-class assortment of natural wonders: the breathtakingly powerful Victoria Falls, the rough-and-tumble Zambezi River and the gorgeous Kariba, Tanganyika and Mweru lakes. Adding to this impressive list are several national parks of rapidly rising prominence, home to a plenitude of birds and mammals under the increasingly vigilant guard of rangers, conservationists and nature-oriented tour operators. Situated in the centre of Java, the worlds most populous island, and part of the only sultanate remaining in the country, the city of Yogyakarta (known by locals as Jogja) is widely considered to be the cultural heart of Indonesia. The people here take real pride in their artistic heritage, said local artist Khadir Supartini. "I love to head to the Universitas Gadja Mada early on a Sunday morning.
